Richard "Dick" Steffen Obituary
Richard W. “Dick” Steffen, 68, passed away December 27, 2023 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. He was born June 15,1955 in Pandora, Ohio to Lenard Steffen and Ruth (Basinger) Steffen who preceded him in death. On June 16, 1979, he married Lori A. Ruen who survives.
Dick graduated from Pandora High School and was employed at Konalrad Products in Pandora. He belonged to the AC Flying Team which flies remote control model airplanes. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and his beloved dogs.
In addition to his wife, Lori, Dick is survived by his brother, Gary (Nancy) Steffen of Pandora,his mother-in-law, Joann Ruen and his brother-in-laws, Dan Ruen, Jerry (Vickie) Ruen and Jack (Kay) Ruen, as well as his sister-in-law, Lisa (Dennis) Meuleman all of Columbus Grove.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law, Joseph Ruen and his brother-in-law, Andy Ruen.
Visitation will be at Hartman Sons Funeral Home in Columbus Grove, Ohio on Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with funeral services at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Klausing presiding. Burial will follow the service at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Columbus Grove, Ohio.
