I am so sorry to hear of the great loss of "Pops"! On behalf of all of us here at the OBOB we extend our sincere sympathy to his lovely wife,Jean and all the family. It has certainly been a great blessing and privilege to serve them at the barn,and witness the love they shared,and all the joy they brought to us every time they came in! Dear Uncle Leslie: We will miss all of the lights in our lives, and I mean literally lights. You put a siren or flasher lights on top of most things you owned from the golf carts to fire truck. It was fun to see you pull up to the pond in whatever vehicle of choice for that day. And you are the only person I know to actually own a fire truck. I love that fire truck and know you probably already have another one complete with lights where you are now. Your life was not necessarily perfect at all times, but know that we seven kids could have not aaked for a more entertaining uncle, even if it was at your expense at times. LOL Tell dad and mom hello for us, and you will be missed. Uncle John is ours now. The boys will look out for him.
