Wilton E. Bushong SCOTSDALE, AZ.- Mr. Wilton E. Bushong, age 84, (formerly of Rimer, Ohio) passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 7:15 A.M. in Scottsdale, AZ. He was born January 7, 1933 in Putnam County, Ohio to the late Rollie N. and Mildred M . (Deffenbaugh) Bushong. On June 8, 1958 he married Susan Salisbury, who passed away August 19, 2009 Wilton graduated from Vaughnsville High School, Class Of 1953. After graduation he enlisted in The U.S. Army. Soon after his discharge from The U.S. Army he came home to get married then returning to Melbourne, Florida to work for The NASS Aerospace Program at Cape Canaveral, Florida. He was excellent working with electronics. Upon his retirement from NASSA, he moved to various locations in the United States, living with his daughter and her family, eventually settling in Scottsdale, AZ. His hobbies were working with Electronics and listening to music, especially Barbershop Harmony. Surviving are two Daughters, Sally (Don) Walters, Gulf Breeze, Florida and Lorrie (Ralph) Gonzalez, Scottsdale, AZ, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grand children. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. A sister Monetta Lloyd, Gomer and a brother Lane (Nancy) Bushong, Lima . A brother Herbert Bushong preceded him in death. A Graveside Service and burial will be held at a later date.
