Wilma Rose Lora's Obituary
Wilma R. Lora, 100, of Columbus Grove, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the Meadows of Kalida. She was born on January 31, 1925, to the late Lester and Luta Pearl (Beemer) Everitt. On July 8, 1945, she married Charles W. Lora who preceded her in death. She worked at Sylvania (Phillips), Ottawa. She was a member of the Pleasant View Church of The Brethren, Elida, where she enjoyed many of the activities. Wilma and Charles enjoyed spending time on Mackinac Island, MI, boating on Lake Erie, and bowling. She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading the Readers Digest, the local newspapers, and the National Enquire. Wilma loved to go out with her sisters for dinner, and she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Scott (Tina) Armstrong and Jamey Armstrong; sister, Phyllis Verhoff; and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy (Richard) Armstrong; and siblings, Maxine (Clyde) Anderson, Ralph (Juanita) Everitt, Lenore (Kenneth) Gratz, Otis (Reta) Everitt and Treva (Noland) Eversole.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 12, 2025, at Hartman-Rousculp Community Funeral Home 10879 SR OH-12 Columbus Grove with visitation two hours prior from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
