One of my favorite people of all time. Whenever I went to Vaughnsville School I always looked him up, because he would brighten your day to just visit with him. How could you not be cheered by one of his stories followed by that chuckle. One of the truly good people.
I was a young educator at Vaughnsville School when first met "Wally" as so many lovingly called him. He was always a special person in my life as I could so easily talk to him about life issues and the topics of the day. His contagious laugh was like a magnet that drew so many to love him. He was thought so highly of by the students and staff of the Vaughnsville School. He will always have a special place in my heart. I have and always will think fondly of him often.So sorry to see him pass.
