RUSHMORE
V. Kathleen Berry Meyer, 63, died April 21, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 27, 1949, in Lima to Fred and Eileen Ramsey Berry. Her father died Feb. 18, 2006. Her mother survives in Rushmore. She married John Meyer, who preceded her in death. Her companion of 30 years, Ken Grantham, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Meyer was a member of Ottawa River Church of God, Rimer. She had been the first female manager at the Days Inn in Georgia. She had also worked with her companion as a truck driver for Grantham Trucking in Georgia.
Survivors also include a daughter, Jeani (Loren) Pint, of Macon, Ga.; a brother, Brad Berry, of Rushmore; a sister, Nancy (Gene) Sprague, of Lima; two grandchildren, Michael Pint and Alicia Fenbert; and six great-grandchildren, with another due this year.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Thomas Berry.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Mark Walls will officiate. Burial will be in Truro Cemetery, Columbus Grove.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
