V. Stephens Obituary
Vaughnsville, Ohio V. Ruth Stephens, age 82, died at 10:42 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2015, at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora, Ohio. She was born on October 1, 1933, in Lima, Ohio to Donald and Edna (Walters) Keller. They both preceded her in death. Mrs. Stephens was a graduate of Elida High School. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church, Ottawa and a former member of the Vaughnsville Christian Union Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher. She was a homemaker and had been employed with Experience Works. Survivors include four sons: Bruce (Barb) Stephens and Randy (Diane) Stephens, both of Columbus Grove, Brent (Sharon) Stephens of Elida, and Chase Stephens formerly of Vaughnsville; eight grandchildren: Briana (Steve) Kahle, Alanna (Derek) Schroeder, Emily (Blake) Galloway, Josh Stephens, Linnea Stephens, Ashley (Justin) Evans, Nicholas Stephens and Zachary Stephens; two great grandchildren: Bennet Kahle and Ellie Evans; two brothers: Harold (Renee) Keller and Robert Keller, both of Lima; and one sister: Jean (Max) Shrider of Lima. Services will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at Faith Baptist Church, Ottawa, Ohio. Pastor Dennis Coates will officiate, with burial in Vaughnsville Cemetery, Vaughnsville, Ohio. Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, and at the Faith Baptist Church, Ottawa, on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m..
