Timothy Lee Betts' Obituary
Timothy L. Betts, 45, of Ada, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025. He was born on October 5, 1979, in Fort Knox, Kentucky to the late Michael L. Betts and Pamela S. (Martz) Betts who survives.
He worked for Once Again Transport LLC and was also a Level 1 Firefighter for Southwestern Hancock Joint Fire District Station 10 hundred. As a 15-year firefighter he volunteered for Cairo, Beaverdam, Richland Fire & Rescue, Lafayette-Jackson Township, Cairo Monroe and Alger Fire Departments. He was a past member of Liberty Chapel of Lafayette, Ohio. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, mowing and was a motorcycle enthusiast. He liked football and following the Green Bay Packers and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved spending time with his family and adored his boys.
He is also survived by his sons, Timothy Michael Betts and Hunter Lee (MaKenna Little) Betts; brother, Eric (Terrie) Betts; nieces and nephews, Jasmine (Aaron) Clarke, Dylon (Lauren Fenstermaker) Golden and Hannah (Trey Sigler) Betts. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Kent Michael Betts and niece, Hailey Lee Betts.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Hartman-Rousculp Community Funeral Home 10879 SR OH-12 Columbus Grove with visitation three hours prior to service (11-2 PM). Burial to follow at Truro Cemetery Columbus Grove. Pastor John Maynard officiating. In lieu of gifts or flowers, please make memorial donations to Southwestern Hancock Joint Fire District.
