Awwwww so sad today to learn of Tom's hospital stay and passing! Tom and I met 7 years ago and got together weekly as friends. Enjoying each other's company, good food, baseball and Jerry Springer shows. Movies etc. We talked talked talked about everything and anything. We brought joy to each other's lives. I am grateful to have had the time with him and cherish the memory of the sound of his laughter and his warm embraces. I appreciated his help with some house projects and his willingness to put up with my two cats! I will miss the sparkly in those eyes he had when he came to visit. He taught me so much!Â

While I am his past daughter in law, he was always sweet and kind to me and Iâ€™m blessed to have known him! He was a good grandpa to his granddaughters and I will cherish my memories of gardening together, Saturday morning pancakes and coffee and his contagious belly laugh!I remember one time he was teaching me how to grow tomatoes but he failed to tell me that there were different types of tomatoes and he knowingly watched me wait and wait and wait for these certain tomatoes to turn red and come to find out they were orange tomatoes!! He was quite the joker and we had a good laugh together over those dumb tomatoes!! I still garden today with what I learned from â€œpaw-pawâ€! Godâ€™s peace! R. I. P. Pop! Much love!
