Terry Miller Obituary
Rimer Terry O. Miller, 55, died at 9:49 p.m. July 14, 2011, at his residence. He was born Feb. 10, 1956, in Lima to Walter T. and LaDonna B. Layton Miller. His father survives in Cairo. His mother died Oct. 19, 1999. On April 28, 1979, he married Gloria Schramm, who survives. Mr. Miller was a graduate of Bath High School. He had worked at the Lima Refinery for 27 years and then at Lima Electric Co. for 11 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing with his family at Big Deep Lake, Minn., and collecting and restoring John Deere Tractors, motorcycles and old radios. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association. He was a loving, caring person, who really loved laughter and telling jokes. He lived life large. He and his father enjoyed a lifelong relationship that was more than just a father and son, they were best friends. They were buddies. Survivors also include a son, Curtis M. (girlfriend Anjanette Walker, of Kansas City, Mo.) Miller, of Columbus Grove; a daughter, Ericka M. (Daniel) Neep, of Sterling, Okla.; a brother, Thomas E. (Janis) Miller, of Eastlake; a sister, Sherri C. (Vern) Schnipke, of Bluffton; five grandchildren, Allyson Neep, Sheldon Fox, Karlyn Fox, Abigail Neep and Ayden Neep, all of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Columbus Grove. Father Thomas Oedy will officiate. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice.
