Ted Miller Obituary
LIMA- Ted R. Miller 88, passed away on August 21, 2024 at Mercy Health, Tiffin. Ohio. He was born April 9, 1936 in Columbus Grove, Ohio to Kenneth E.Miller and Calla (Dielman) Miller who preceded him in death. On May 21, 1958 he married Fairy Leming who passed away on December 9, 2018.
Ted graduated from Vaughnsville High School, class of 1955. He was the owner of Auto Barn and ABC Rental in Lima, Ohio. He worked at Tomlinson Brake & Spring, Lima, Ohio prior to becoming a business owner. He and his wife also previously owned the Grove Dairy Whip.
Ted was a Putnam county farm owner and had a great collection of classic cars. He loved going to car shows and talking about cars.
Ted is survived by a son, Troy Miller, and 2 daughters: Gwen (Jeff) Grizzard, and DeVon “DeeDee” (Dan) Cappillo. He is also survived by a brother, Joe Miller and a sister, Susan Witteborg. In addition, he is survived by 3 grandchildren: Nathan and Lindsay Grizzard and Tony Cappillo, and a brother-in-law, Jim Leming.
Friends may call at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, Ohio on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Services will be Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Rich Rakay presiding. Burial will follow service at Osborn Cemetery, Columbus Grove, Ohio.
