Columbus Grove, Ohio Steve L. Williams, 62, died at 5:20 a.m., Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, Fl. He was born on August 5, 1955, in Dayton, Ohio to Robert L. and Helen N. (Borck) Williams. They both preceded him in death. On June 25, 1976, he married Vikki L. Kohli, and she survives in Columbus Grove, Ohio. He is also survived by his son: Travis (Jill) Williams of Columbus Grove; three granddaughters: twins, Victoria and Shelby Williams, and Payton Bechtol; mother in-law: Marge Kohli of Columbus Grove; sister: Elaine Callahan of Lima; niece: Lori Callahan and nephew: Michael Callahan. He was preceded in death by brother in-law: Dennis Callahan. Steve was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School, class of 1974. He worked for and retired from the Dana Corporation, Lima. After retirement, he had worked with Fortman R.V., Kalida. He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, working on cars in his garage and could fix almost anything mechanical. He loved camping and the warm weather of Florida. Steve was very proud of, and loved his granddaughters. He would just beam when showing their latest pictures. He loved being with family and friends. Service will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Visitation from 11:00a.m. - 1:00p.m., Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
