Steve Roberts' Obituary
Steve Roberts, 70, of Zoflo Springs, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Atrium Medical Center, Middletown, Ohio. Born in Lima. He was the son of the late Carrol and Patricia (Hitchcock) Roberts. He was employed at RWS Transport as well as a mechanic at Interdyne Transvac, retiring with over 20 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Columbus Grove and enjoyed woodworking, making furniture and tables, making ice cream, hit and miss motors, spending time with family, cooking BBQ chicken in large quantities.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Vandegrift), sons Eric (Tyanesa) Roberts, Zachary Roberts, Indiana (Alexis) Roberts, Storm Roberts, daughters Mandie Stansberry, Andrea Longfellow, brothers Doug Roberts, Jeffery Roberts, Kenneth (Marjorie) Roberts, eleven grandchildren, one step great-grandson. He was also preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Tammy Roberts, and daughter Brandie Longfellow.
Funeral Services are at 11 a.m Friday, February 7, 2025, at Hartman-Rousculp Funeral Home, 10879 St. Rt. 12, Columbus Grove, OH. Officiated by Harry Tolhurst. Friends may call from 9-11 a.m on Friday, February 7, 2025, also at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Truro Cemetery, Columbus Grove.
