Stanley Rayman Obituary
Vaughnsville Stanley L. Rayman, 80, died the evening of June 23, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, from injuries suffered in a house fire. He was born July 17, 1930, in Putnam County to John and Lucy Schimmoeller Rayman, who preceded him in death. On Dec. 15, 1951, he married Doris Burman, who survives. Mr. Rayman retired from Roeder Cartage Co. Inc., where he was worked as a truck driver. Before working at Roeder Cartage, he drove a tractor-trailer for J.M. Williams Trucking, Vaughnsville. Survivors also include two daughters, Rhonda (Bruce) Sparrow and Sondra (Kirk) Martini, of Lima; four grandchildren, Lisa (Bob) Smith, of Vaughnsville, Amy (Kevin) Busick, of Pataskala, Matt Martini, of Lima, and Mike (Kayla Daley) Martini, of Delphos; five great-grandchildren, Zach and Ian Smith, Thomas and Lily Busick and Morgan Martini; two brothers, Bob (Alice) Rayman, of Romeo, Ill., and Gene (Alice) Rayman, of Elida; and two sisters-in-law, Mildred Rayman, of Ottoville, and Evelyn Burman, of Vaughnsville. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Glen Rayman and Paul Rayman; two sisters, Maxine Crowe and Mary Rott; and two brothers-in-law, Melvin Crowe and Joe Rott. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. The Rev. Mark Walls will officiate. Burial will be in Truro Cemetery, Columbus Grove. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
