Lima, Ohio Rosemary A. Begg age 82, died at 8:32 p.m. on Friday March 20, 2015, at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora, Ohio. She was born on May 21, 1932, in Columbus Grove to Lawrence and Mary (Maag) Meyer. They preceded her in death. Rosemary had been married to John Begg, and he preceded her in death, November 29, 2009. A graduate of Columbus Grove High School, class of 1950, she had worked at the Union Bank Company, Lord's Enterprises, both of Columbus Grove and had retired in 2006, from Cargill, Lima. Rosemary was a member of the Columbus Grove Presbyterian Church, where she held various offices including, clerk of session and moderator of the Women's Association. She enjoyed gardening, reading, playing golf, bowling, playing euchre and most of all, her family. Survivors include two sons: John Jay (Stephanie) Begg, Columbus Grove, and Robert (Ken) Begg, Medford, OR; two daughters: Valerie (Steve) Kiene, Pandora, and Anne (Sam) Halker, Lima; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two brothers: Gordon (Edwina) Meyer and Jim (Shirley) Meyer; four sisters: Alma Chambers, Ann Selhorst, Teresa (Steve) Irwin and Cathy Ruhe; and one sister in-law: Pat Lugibihl. She is preceded in death by one sister: Maxine Henderson; three brothers: Don, Leon and Paul Meyer. The family would like to thank the Hilty Memorial Home staff for their wonderful care, and the Putnam County Home Health and Hospice staff for their support, kindness and care, with a special thanks to Laura. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, Pastor Harry Tolhurst officiating. Burial will follow in Campbell Cemetery, Columbus Grove. Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm, Monday, March 23, 2015, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Memorial contributions may be made to Columbus Grove Presbyterian Church, or to Putnam County Home Health and Hospice. Online condolences may be expressed at hartmansonsfuneralhome.com.
