Spencerville, Ohio Mr. Roger Rimer, 78, died September 16, 2014, at Roselawn Manor, Spencerville, Ohio, where he had been a resident since 1987. He was born in Kalida, Ohio, on August 8, 1936, to Elmer and Cleo (Mack) Rimer, who preceded him in death. Mr. Rimer had been an associate of Marimor Industries, Lima, from which he retired. Roger especially loved painting and going on outings. He also enjoyed playing bingo, and listening to polka music. Everyone that knew Roger loved him. Roger is preceded in death by two sisters Myrtle A. Majerczyk and Georgia Tuggle. Services will be at Hartman Sons Funeral Home on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rich Rakay officiating. Burial will be in Kalida Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday September 19, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm., at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Roselawn Manor Activity Fund, 420 East Fourth Street, Spencerville, Ohio 45887. Online condolences may be expressed at hartmansonsfuneralhome.com.
