Robert Schoonover Obituary
Columbus Grove, Ohio Robert J. "Bob" Schoonover, 74, died at 10:10 pm, Sunday, November 25, 2018, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio. He was born June 20, 1944, in Lima to Robert Ellwood and Mildred Mary "Carmella" (Bivona) Schoonover. They both preceded him in death. He married in 1972 to Marilyn Kay Anderson, who survives. Robert was a graduate of Shawnee High School, Lima, after which he served in the U.S. Coast Guard out of New York City, on the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter, "West Wind." He retired from the Ford Motor Company, Lima Engine Plant, after 30 years. He enjoyed watching OSU Football, most all sporting events and attending area car shows. Private family services were held with Pastor Geoff Eubank officiating. Burial was Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
