Mr Robert Dale Garberson's Obituary
Robert D. Garberson, 86, of Columbus Grove, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Rimer, Ohio on February 24, 1939, to the late Herb and Ardatha (Askins) Garberson. On March 8, 1957, he married Sallie L. Irwin who preceded him in death.
Bob was a graduate of Vaughnsville High School, class of 1957. He was a retired truck driver, mechanic and maintenance technician who worked at Consolidated Biscuit Factory, J.M. Williams, Herk Selhorst and the Monsanto Corporation. Bob was a devoted husband to Sallie for 57 years and enjoyed traveling the country with her, their children and grandchildren. Together they visited all 50 states and all Canadian Provinces, and they enjoyed spending their winters together in Florida. He also loved spending time with his family but was glad to see them go after a while, LOL.
He is survived by his children Lucinda Nienberg, Mark (Jane) Garberson, Christina Garberson and Dalinda (Steve Balmas) Donaldson; daughter-in-law, Jodi Garberson; eleven grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Samantha (Jason), Mark (Liz), Cassie (Dominick), Jaimie (Brandon), Kyle (Megan), Carrie, Megan and McKenzie (Kyle); twelve great-grandchildren, Sean, Cheyenne, Keaton, Alayna, Logan, Carsyn, Jackson, Abigail, Harvey, Buddy, Kash and Tempie. He is also preceded in death by his son, Bruce L. Garberson, son-in-law, Ricky Nienberg and brother, Keith Garberson.
