Ritchard Wiggins Obituary
Columbus Grove, Ohio Ritchard Oliver Wiggins, age 72, at 10:15 p.m., on January 8, 2017, at St. Rita's Hospice, Lima, Ohio. He was born on January 15, 1944, in Clovis, NM, to Ocie F. and Mattie (Felty) E. Wiggins. They both preceded him in death. On December 20, 1990, he married Shirley Marshall. She survives in Columbus Grove, Ohio. Ritchard is survived by three daughters: Lori (Tim) Bryant, Michelle Wiggins and Pamela (Bobby) Garner all of Wauchula, FL; one step daughter: Amanda (Joe) Shaver of Vaughnsville; four step sons: James (Shawna) Baker of Columbus Grove, Jeff (Tracy) Baker of Bluffton, Joshua Baker and Lance Baker both of Columbus Grove; 24 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and one sister Judy (Otto) Crouch of Portales, NM. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Orville Jacobs and Raymond Wiggins. Ritchard served in the U. S. Navy. He had been a master plumber, certified welder, commercial truck driver, and was an all around handy man who could build anything. He loved fishing, shooting pool and working outside. Services will be held at 5:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Rich Rakay will officiate, with military rites to follow at the funeral home. Friends may call on Thursday, from 2:00-5:00 pm at Hartman Sons Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at hartmansonsfuneralhome.com.
