Richard G Williams' Obituary
Richard G. Williams, 91, of Columbus Grove, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025. He was born on September 21, 1933, to the late Luther and Alberta (Allgire) Williams. On August 7, 1955, he married Sue M. Rohrer, who survives.
He worked for Fruehauf Trailer Corporation for 33 years until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of Gomer Congregational Church, Gomer Dad's Club and Boy Scouts Troop 84, Gomer. Richard enjoyed traveling and had visited all 50 states, attending auctions, working in his barn, and refurbishing antique furniture. He loved to dance western square, was an active member of Silver Spurs Club and spending time with family. He was very proud of all his family.
He is also survived by his children, Jeffrey (Annette) Williams, James (Beth) Williams and JoAnne Williams; grandchildren, Abigail Wlliams, Allison Williams, Joshua (Tessa Phillips) Williams, Sara (Alex) Szmania, Rae Drotleff and Samuel Drotleff; great grandchildren, Lana Williams and Sasha Szmania. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Margery Alger and Mary Binkley.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Hartman-Rousculp Community Funeral Home 10879 SR OH-12 Columbus Grove, with visitation two hours prior to service from 9 AM - 11 AM. Burial service to follow at Pike Run Cemetery, Gomer. Pastor Maurice Dunn officiating.
