Raymond Jamison Obituary
Raymond “Mike” Jamison, age 79, went home to be with his mother on October 14, 2024, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, Ohio. He was born on March 26, 1945 to Bill and Grace (Jamison) Miller, who preceded him in death. He was a son, brother, and a fun and crazy uncle to many. He was also a great friend.
He was also preceded in death by a stepfather, Art Miller, and a stepmother, Wanda Jamison, his brother Ira (Patricia) Jamison, and nieces Jennifer Jamison and Autumn Jamison.
He is survived by a sister Maxine Grant, two brothers Billy (Debbie) Jamison and Randy (Sue) Jamison, and many nieces and nephews.
Mike served in the US Air Force. He was a carpet installer by profession. Mike was known for his straightforward personality, always telling it like it was. He enjoyed fishing and shooting at the range and held a secretary position at the Cairo Sportsman’s Club for many years. He enjoyed watching comedy shows, especially the performances of Spittin’ Image. He loved to organize family reunions and will be greatly missed by many people.
Friends may call at Hartman Sons Funeral Home in Columbus Grove on Monday, October 21, 2024, from 10:00 am until Noon. A funeral service will be held at Noon with Pastor Jim Klausing presiding, followed by burial at Greenlawn Cemetery near Elida, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cairo Sportsman’s Club, Cairo, Ohio.
