Vaughnsville, Ohio Peggy J. (Mullins) Sherrard, 75, died at 1:15am, Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Meadows of Leipsic. She was born February 7, 1943 in Richmond, VA to Ruey and Bella (Ratliff) Mullins. On July 15, 1963, she married Terry A. Sherrard, who preceded her in death on June 6, 2000. Peggy is survived by a son, Robert E. "Bob" Sherrard; brother in-law, Marlen (Caroline) Sherrard; several nieces and nephews, along with special friends, Chad (Valerie) Eley and their son Caleb and Jeannie Griffith. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. A homemaker, Peggy was a member of the former Evangelical United Brethren Church of Vaughnsville, now the Vaughnsville Community Church. She belonged to the Pythian Sisters and the Secret Sisters Mother's Club both formerly of Vaughnsville. Peggy always enjoyed reading and baking, especially zucchini bread. Services will begin at 11:00 am, on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Tom Brown will officiate with burial to follow in Vaughnsville Cemetery, Vaughnsville, Ohio. Friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 am, Saturday, with services to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Vaughnsville Community Church or Donor's Choice. Online contributions may be expressed at hartmansonsfuneralhome.com.
