Lima, Ohio Paulette R. "Polly" Anderson, age 75, died at 3:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Kingston Care Center, Sylvania, Ohio. She was born on January 19, 1942, in Gary, IN, to Charles B. and Iola R. (Smith) Walters. They both preceded her in death. On January 23, 1998, she married Irvin "Butch-Andy" Anderson, who preceded her in death on July 4, 2016. She is survived by two daughters: Robin (Jerry) Van Hoy of Sylvania and Kerry (Bob) Mock of Peru, IN; five sons: Mark (Alanda) Hilty of West Mansfield, Howard (Gladys) Hilty of Richardson, TX, David (Barbara) Anderson of Peru, IN, Terry Irvin Anderson of Peru, IN and Michael Anderson of Seattle, WA; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Polly was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Bell; one sister Lynda Waitman and one brother, Edward Walters. She was a graduate of Waynesfield High School. Polly retired from Clear Channel Radio. She was a life member of the Columbus Grove VFW Auxillary. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and spending time with her family. Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Rich Rakay will officiate. Burial will be in Truro West Cemetery, Columbus Grove. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. till time of service on Friday, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbus Grove VFW.
