On November 21, 2023, Paula Lynn Stechschulte passed away peacefully at the age of 77. She was born in Lima, Ohio to Omer and Doris Pingle who preceded her in death. Paula married husband Jerry on August 20, 1966. The two went on to have four (4) boys whom she loved very much and supported.
Paula worked for Orthopedic Associates of Lima and after retirement went on to work several additional years at the Hilty Childcare Center in Pandora due to her love for children. Paula also enjoyed her personal hobbies, supporting her husband Jerry’s coaching career, attending her sons various sporting events, and spending as much time as she could at Huggy Bear Campgrounds each summer. Her eyes would light up any time she would see her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Paula will be remembered by her nickname “Ping” along with her wit and humor, sassiness, determination, and love for her family.
Paula is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jerry; sons Mathew of Hilliard, Nathan (Lisa), Aaron (Cindy), and Adam (Kayla) all of Columbus Grove; grandchildren, Alexis (Chad) Kuntzman, Gabriel, Harrison, Daisy, Autumn, Ariel, Viviana, Vonn, and Vallie; great grandchild, Finley Kuntzman; siblings Jeff (Kristi) Pingle, Todd (Jennifer) Pingle.
The family will receive friends at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Columbus Grove on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 8:30am-10am. The funeral mass will follow at 10am with Father David Ritchie presiding. Burial following the service at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Columbus Grove. The family would like to especially thank the staff of The Meadows of Kalida and the Putnam County Home Care and Hospice for all their care and support.
