Lima, Ohio Patricia P. Smith, formerly of Columbus Grove, 42, died Friday, September 29, 2017, in Lima, Ohio. She was born January 2, 1975, in Lima, to Gerald "Jerry" L. and Tonia J. (Iiames) Schroeder. They both preceded her in death. Patty is survived by two sons: Issac Smith of Nelsonville and Phillip Smith of Ottawa; two sisters: Angela M. Schroeder Cox of Ottawa and Erin M. Schroeder of St. Petersburg, FL; one niece: Amber Schuller and two nephews: Christopher Cox and Michael Schoeff, Jr.. Patty was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School, class of 1994. She attended Apollo, studying Cuisine. She had worked at several area restaurants. She had attended Faith Assembly of Believers, Ottawa. Patty enjoyed shopping, cooking, and spending time with her family. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Rich Rakay will officiate. Burial will be at Truro Cemetery, Columbus Grove. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home.
