Columbus Grove, Ohio Patricia M. Anderson, age 70, died at 3:45pm, on Thursday, August 4, 2016, at The Meadows of Kalida, Kalida, Ohio. She was born on December 1, 1945 in Garden City, Michigan, to Paul M. and Mildred L. (Brummett) Rettig. They both preceded her in death. On June 28, 1964, she married Ralph E. Anderson, and he survives in Columbus Grove. Pat and her husband, Ralph, owned Northwest Fuel Injection Service, Inc., Columbus Grove, where she was the Business Manager, overseeing accounting, inventory, and personnel. She was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School, class of 1963. She had been a member of the former United Church of Christ, now the Columbus Grove Christian Church. When time permitted, she enjoyed gardening, cooking large family dinners at the lake, and spending time with her family. In her retirement, she turned to crocheting and knitting, making jewelry and the pursuit of her love of music and singing. She is survived by her husband and best friend, Ralph E. Anderson; a son: Bradley (Vanessa) Anderson of Vaughnsville; a daughter: Lynnette (Patrick) Layman of Clinton Township, Michigan; six grandchildren: Devon and Eryn Layman, Klinton and Blake Hull, Grant and Faith Anderson; five great grandchildren: Hannah, Kolton, Weston, Addalyn and Brailynn; and a sister: Revilla Hegwood of Sarasota, Florida. She is preceded in death by a sister: Shirley (Charles) Best and a brother in-law: Paul Hegwood. Services will begin at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, August 8, 2016, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home. Pastor Geoff Eubank will officiate, with burial at Campbell Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, August 7, 2016, from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00pm, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbus Grove Christian Church or Donor's Choice. Online condolences may be expressed at hartmansonsfuneralhome.com.
