Patricia A McDougle's Obituary
Patricia A. McDougle, 80, of Columbus Grove, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Born in Dola, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Byron H. and Sylvia (Poe) Shields. On September 4, 1965, she married Dennis E. McDougle who preceded her in death on November 24, 2000.
She is survived by daughters, Lori (Terry) Giesige and Lisa (Jon) Walker; sister, Roberta (Ronald) Young; grandchildren, Blake (Andrea) Walker, Patrick (Kiley) Walker, Taylor (Megan Augustine) Giesige and Alexander (Caitlin) Giesige; and great grandchildren, Abigail, Marcy and Jacob Walker and Maddy Giesige. She is also preceded in death by siblings, Harold "Jack" Shields, Rose Conley, Rella (T.J.) Boring and Louise Darby.
Patricia worked for over 20 years at KMI, Kalida, until her retirement in 2009. She was a past member of the United Methodist Church, Columbus Grove. She was also a member of the Ladies Softball League, Lima. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and rooting for favorite football teams, OSU and the Kansas City Chiefs. She especially loved spending time with her family.
