Columbus Grove, Ohio Patricia E. Holdren, 80, died at 6:45 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2015, at St. Rita's Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf, Ohio. She was born on September 18, 1934, to John and Edith (Johnson) Culp. They both preceded her in death. Patricia was preceded in death by her first husband Leroy Ireland in 1974 and her second husband Homer Holdren. Mrs. Holdren was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School, after which she attended and graduated from Lima Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, as a Registered Nurse. She had worked at both Lima Memorial Hospital and St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She retired from Shawnee Manor, Lima. Patricia was an animal lover, especially dogs. She is survived by three sons: Richard (Edith) Ireland, Grand Bay, AL, David (Ann) Ireland, Butler, PA, John Ireland, Lima, OH; two daughters: Patti (Tom) Halker, Columbus Grove, OH, Dawn Holdren, Lima, OH; three step-daughters: Tracy (Greg) Tanner, PA, Deanna Owenby, FL, Stephania Holdren, Delphos, OH; twelve grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and two sisters: Betty Cunningham and Helen (Robert) LeGrande both of Westerville, OH. She was preceded in death by two grandsons: Scott and Travis Holdren; two stepsons: Steve and Mike Holdren. Private family services will be held at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, Pastor Richard Ireland will officiate. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to WTGN 1600 Elida Road, Lima, Ohio 45805 or Putnam Pet Pals P.O. Box 143, Glandorf, Ohio 45848.
