Steve Dackin
Tom,
I was very sorry to hear about Norm’s passing. Please know how much you are in my thoughts.
I’ve been thinking a lot about those Sundays at Grandpa Dackin’s house when we were kids—family gathered together, the men playing cards in the living room while the sisters and my mom discussed the latest happenings around town. Those were wonderful child memories.
I remember how much Norm truly loved following sports, and I was humbled to learn how closely he followed mine and my brother’s athletic careers—down to memorizing the statistics. That kind of attention and pride meant more than he probably ever knew.
Norm was simply a good guy—kind, engaged, and deeply invested in the people he cared about. I hope it brings you some comfort to know how fondly he is remembered and how lasting an impression he made.
Wishing you strength, peace, and comfort in the days ahead.
Steve and Susan Dackin
