Rushmore, Ohio Norma Jean Hunt, age 91, died at 10:15pm, Thursday, February 15, 2018, at The Meadows of Kalida. She was born October 8, 1926, in Columbus Grove, to Ralph and Lucille (Schindler) Ramsey. They both preceded her in death. On October 14, 1944, she married William R. Hunt, he preceded her in death on March 11, 1992. Jean is survived by one son: Timothy R. (Phyllis) Hunt of Columbus Grove; one daughter in-law: Patricia Hunt of St. Louis, MO; one sister: Dorothy Eileen Berry of Rushmore; six grandchildren: Doug (Pam) Hunt, Trevor (Ava) Hunt, Tonia (Patrick) Vetter, Tara Bowersock, Todd (Donna) Hunt and Tamara (Greg) Profit; fourteen grandchildren: Austin, Nathan, Seth and Adam Hunt, Jack and Olive Vetter, Ethan and Evan Bowersock, Nichole (Robbie) Moye, Derek (Katie) Ricker, Tim Hunt, Tessa Hunt, Kyle (Taylor Korte) Profit and Ryan Profit and eight great great grandchildren: Noah, Colton and Benjamin Moye, Braylyn, Hudsynn and Bostyn Profit, Avery and Aubrey Ricker. She was preceded in death by one son: Ted W. Hunt; one grandson: Timothy Raymond Hunt and one granddaughter: Tina Margene Hunt. Jean was a member of the Ottawa River Church of God, Rimer. She retired from the Delphos Herald after 29 years and worked for nine years at Meijers. Jean was a member of the Delphos Eagle's Auxiliary Aires #471. Services will begin at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Mark Walls will officiate, with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery, Rimer. Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, February 19, 2018 and an hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Ottawa River Church. Online condolences may be expressed at hartmansonsfuneralhome.com.
