Nixon Bradley Palte's Obituary
Nixon B. Palte, 5, of Columbus Grove, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 27, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 8, 2020, to Steven and Morgan (Kohls) Palte.
Nixon was loved by many. He loved to cook, watch Bluey and play with his brothers "the boys." He didn't know a stranger and had many friends. He was very brave and courageously battled brain cancer for 2 years. He will be deeply missed by anybody who has ever met him.
He is survived by his brothers, Carson and Grady; paternal grandparents, Denny and Kris Palte, maternal grandparents, Mark Kohls and Stacie (Shandon) Shine; aunts and uncles, Scott (Amber) Palte, Stephani (Eric) Fortman, Tyler (Lauren) Kohls and Ali (Tim) Payton; cousins, Brynn, Elyse and Kyla Fortman, Everett, Kendal and Rylan Palte, Timmy and Jax Payton; and great-grandparents, Jean Kohls, and George and Brenda Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 2, 2026, at St. John's Community Church, 205 N. High Street, Columbus Grove, Ohio with visitation one hour prior from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Pastor Kyle Thain officiating. Burial to follow at Truro Cemetery. Visitation is also on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Hartman-Rousculp Community Funeral Home, 10879 State Route 12, Columbus Grove.
