Columbus Grove Nellie M. Lather, 68, died June 14, 2012, at St. Rita's Ambulatory Care, Glandorf. She was born Nov. 24, 1943, in Canton, Ill., to Carl and Helen Ford Hedden, who preceded her in death. She had been married to Phil Lather, who died June 10, 2006. Mrs. Lather had been a custodian at Columbus Grove schools for 23 years. She loved working puzzles and reading. Survivors include two sons, Michael A. Lather and Stephen T. Lather, both of Columbus Grove; three brothers, William W. (Marla) Hedden, of Canton, Ill., and John C. (Kathy) Hedden and Kenneth A. Hedden, both of Appleton, Wis.; and two sisters, Sherrill M. (Merle) Reigseker, of Ridgeville Corners, and Helen E. (Kenny) St. Clair, of Richardson, Texas. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James R. and Bruce E. Hedden. Memorial services may be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Arrangements are by Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove.
