Columbus Grove Nathan John Siefker, 24 of Columbus Grove passed away Sunday May 14, 2017. He was born February 24, 1993 to John Edward and Marilyn Odelia (Gerten) Siefker. He is survived by his siblings: Laura (Alton) Warniment of Pandora, Elizabeth (Shane) Sudlow of Columbus Grove, Sarah (Tim) Faber of Glandorf, Adam (Kim) Siefker, Philip (Alesha) Siefker, and Aaron (Erica) Siefker all of Columbus Grove. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, whom he adored and loved very much: Gracee, Emma, Lucie, and Jude Warniment, Hunter and Walker Sudlow, Chase, Carson, Will, and Addyson Faber, and Grant, Garrett, and Lillian Siefker. Nathan is preceded in death by a nephew and a niece: Griffin and Stella Warniment, and Grandparents: Laverne and LaDonna Siefker and Harold and Alice Gerten Nathan was a graduate of St. Anthony School, Columbus Grove High School and a pharmacy student at Ohio Northern University. He worked part-time at Rite Aid. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church where he served as an usher. He was a Houston Texans and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He was involved with Columbus Grove 4-H and had been a Challenged Champions volunteer. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday May 19, 2017 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Tom Extejt officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Anthony Church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, May 18, 2017, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. A rosary service will be at the conclusion of visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony School Endowment or St. Anthony Fund Drive. Online condolences may be expressed at hartmansonsfuneralhome.com.
