Nancy Young Obituary
Columbus Grove, Ohio Nancy L. Young, 78, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 4, 1938, in Ottawa, to Herbert and Viva Opal (Frost) Reeder. They both preceded her in death. In 1952, she married Daniel J. Young, he survives in Columbus Grove. Nancy is survived by three sons: Michael (Debra) Young, Billy (Kimberly) Young and John (Elizabeth) Young; three daughters: Chris (Kent, dec.) Closser, Vicky Swindler and Terry (Thomas) Sears; 14 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother: John Reeder, and two sisters: Mona Cox, Ruth Jean Smith. She was preceded in death by a son: Timothy Daniel Young; a daughter: Nancy Jane Young; two granddaughters: Sondra Young and Amy Young, two great grandsons: Caleb Raines and Lucas Heffelfinger; one brother: William F. Reeder; and two sisters: Mary Jane Radabaugh and Jean Ann Matson. Nancy was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School. She was a homemaker and had retired from Superior Metal Products, Lima. Friends may call from 2:00-7:00pm on Friday, March 24, 2017, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Services will follow at 7:00pm. Pastor Carol Retcher will officiate. Joint Graveside service will be held for Nancy and Daniel, starting at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at Truro West Cemetery, Columbus Grove, Ohio. Ryan Benroth will officiate.
