Mary A Partin's Obituary
Mary A. Partin, 76, of Vaughnsville, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025. She was born November 30, 1948 to the late Andrew and Veronica (Liebrecht) Brickner.
It was in Kalida that Mary first met the love of her life, Don Partin. They married shortly after her graduation from Kalida High School and were happily married for almost 54 years.
She and Don met many friends at local music jams where Mary was legendary for her friendliness and her famous pies. Mary was born with a green thumb and had beautiful flower gardens for many years. When not baking pies or gardening, she enjoyed cheering on her grandchildren and attending their games and choir concerts. She also loved watching basketball at any level and NASCAR races.
She retired from the Kohls Distribution Center in Findlay. She had also worked at the Carter Lumber Company in Columbus Grove.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Brian) Benko, Laurie (Clete) Nartker, and Denise Partin; brother, Marion (Mary) Brickner; grandchildren, Alexis Nartker, Dilynn Nartker, Madelyn Nartker, Isabella Nartker, Troy Benko and Kate Benko; great-grandson John Treadway; and honorary daughter, sister, and best friend Nancy Nigh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Partin; sister, Alice Brickner; and brothers, Donald Brickner, Andrew Brickner, Francis Brickner, and Arthur Brickner.
A memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Hartman-Rousculp Community Funeral Home, 10879 OH-12, Columbus Grove.
