Mary Anne Lugibill's Obituary
Mary Anne Lugibill, 91, of Columbus Grove, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. She was born on April 21, 1935, to the late Clarence and Elvina (Suter) Burkholder. On September 21, 1962, she married John Lugibill who survives.
Mary Anne and John owned and operated Lugibill Florist and Greenhouse in Columbus Grove for many years. She was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School and was an active member of Grace Mennonite Church in Pandora. She served on the local Board of Elections and volunteered for Friends of the Library. She enjoyed needlepoint and crochet. She loved to travel, play cards, read and was a great cook.
She is also survived by her children, Mark (Beth) Lugibill and Leslie (Thomas Sheehan) Lugibill; sister, Ruth Shoemaker; and three grandchildren, Angela, Erin and Paige Lugibill. She was preceded in death by siblings, Lois Oberhaus and Richard Burkholder.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Hartman-Rousculp Community Funeral Home, 10879 State Route 12, Columbus Grove with visitation one hour prior (10:00 am - 11:00 am). Pastor Matthew Yoder officiating. Burial to follow at Truro Cemetery, Columbus Grove. Visitation is 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, June 5, 2026, at Hartman-Rousculp Community Funeral Home. Preferred Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
