Columbus Grove Marjorie "Marge" Kuhlman Rieman, 86, died at 5:50 a.m. July 6, 2012, at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. She was born March 22, 1926, in Findlay to Joseph and Elizabeth Otto Kuhlman, who preceded her in death. On April 24, 1948, she married James H. Rieman, who died June 17, 2000. Mrs. Rieman was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Anthony Church, Columbus Grove, and the Altar Rosary Society of the church. She was a 1944 graduate of Liberty Benton High School. Marjorie had worked at Cooper Tire, Findlay, in the advertising department. She enjoyed craft work, loved polka dancing and was a member of the Ohio Polka Boosters. Marjorie's family had the Kuhlman Family Band, in which she participated by playing the trumpet and cornet. Mrs. Rieman had helped her husband, Jim, with the Pioneer Seed Sales business. Survivors include a son, John (Bonni) Rieman, of Miller City; a daughter, Barbara Hutchison, of Ottawa; four sisters-in-law, Dene Kuhlman, Jean Kuhlman, Pauline Kuhlman and Jo Ann Kuhlman, all of Findlay; a brother-in-law, C.H. Stechschulte, of Ottawa; seven grandchildren, Greg Nunn, Jim (Amy) Nunn, Matthew (Jessica) Rieman, Aaron Rieman, Benjamin (Kelly) Rieman, Bruce (Sheena) Hutchison and Anthony Hutchison; 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters, Norman Kleman, Agnes Schumacker, Hubert Kuhlman, Jim Kuhlman, Walt Kuhlman, Sister Placida Kuhlman, Order of St. Francis, Roy Kuhlman, Ruth Stechschulte and Sam Kuhlman. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Church, Columbus Grove. Father Tom Extejt will officiate. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Columbus Grove. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, where a Rosary Service will begin at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Parish, Putnam County Council on Aging or the charity of the donor's choice.
