Margaret Schumacher Obituary
Gaylord, MI formerly Columbus Grove, OH Margaret A. Schumacher, 86, died at Tendercare Gaylord, Gaylord, MI, on Sunday July 23, 2017. She was born August 31, 1930, in Kalida, Ohio to Earl Cecil and Blanche Mae (Neal) Shirey. They both preceded her in death. On February 19, 1952, she married Harry L. Schumacher. He preceded her in death, September 27, 2012. Margaret is survived by her two sons: Dave (Lori) Schumacher of Bowling Green and Ron (Eileen) Schumacher of Indian River, MI; two daughters: Janice (Bob) Davis of Indian River, MI and Teresa (Todd) Napolitano of Virginia Beach, VA; six grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and one sister Donna McCollum of Kalida. She was preceded in death by a daughter Cheryl Mae Schumacher. Margaret was a graduate of Kalida High School, class of 1948. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the CLC of the church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 516 and the VFW Auxiliary, Post 9648, both of Columbus Grove. Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Columbus Grove, Father Jim Szobonya will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00-8:00-pm on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, and on Thursday from 9:00 am-time of service at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. The CLC of the Church will recite the Rosary at the close of visitation. Donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association. Online condolences may be expressed at hartmansonsfuneralhome.com
