Margaret Stechschulte Obituary
Columbus Grove, Ohio Margaret I. Stechschulte, 81, died at 1:45 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2015, at St. Clare Commons, Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born on July 23, 1933 in Glandorf, Ohio, to Leo and Mary (Kahle) Ellerbrock. They both preceded her in death. On July 31, 1954, she married Lawrence Stechschulte. She was a graduate of Glandorf High School and Mary Manse College, Toledo, Ohio. Mrs. Stechschulte retired from St. Anthony School in Columbus Grove, Ohio, where she had taught for 33 years and served as director of the St. Anthony Youth Choir. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, where she taught RCIA classes and facilitated Adult Scripture Programs. She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, member and past president of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia, Council #166. Margaret graduated from the Toledo Diocean Lay Ministry Program and served as an instructor and supervisor. She was also a former member of the Lima Watercolor Society and ArtSpace, Lima. Margaret is survived by three sons: Kim (Vickie) Stechschulte, Versailles, KY; Ted (Donna) Stechschulte, Maumee, OH; Robert (Sharon) Stechschulte, Findlay, OH; one daughter: Pamela (Steve) Bartlett, Xenia, OH; 16 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; over 20 Foster Great Grandchildren; one brother: Eugene (Edna) Ellerbrock; and two sisters: Marilyn (Norman) Schroeder and Judy Ward. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Stechschulte. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Columbus Grove. Rev. Dan Zak and Rev. Tom Extejt will co-officate. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 on Monday, February 16, 2015, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home.
