Columbus Grove, Ohio Lynette F. Mechling, 56, died Saturday May 17, 2014 at 5:30 am at her home in Columbus Grove, Ohio. She was born October 22, 1957 in Lima to Richard and Vivian (Aspinall) Armstrong, both of whom preceded her in death. Lynette had attended Lima Senior High School. Her main goal was to make sure everyone was laughing and smiling. She loved spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all, especially her dog Macie. Surviving are a son, Chad (Shawna) Graham of Luling, LA; a daughter Josi Mechling of Columbus Grove, OH; four grandchildren, Shaily, Cadence, Slayden and Khloe; three brothers, Dan Armstrong of Lexington, KY, Chris Armstrong and Scott (Dee Dee) Armstrong both of Los Vegas, NV; and one sister, Judy (Jerry) Gephart of Lima, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a sister Ginger Armstrong. There will be a Benefit/Memorial Dinner on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 4:00pm -7:00pm at the Columbus Grove Eagle Q-Hut, 10850 Road Z, Columbus Grove. Memorial Donations may be made to the family.
