Linda Tabler Obituary
Bluffton, Ohio Linda Jo Tabler, 72, died at 12:35 a.m., Sunday January 18, 2015, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, Ohio. She was born on December 17, 1942, in Lima, Ohio to Robert L. "Buck" and Lillian M. (Rasor) Lamb. They both preceded her in death. On November 9, 1963, she married Jerry E. Tabler and he survives in Bluffton, Ohio. Mrs. Tabler was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School, class of 1960. She attended Business School in Minneapolis, MN, after which her first secretarial job was at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton. She had worked at IBM in Virginia, and after moving back to Ohio, worked at Triplett Corporation, Bluffton. She then retired from Lima Memorial Hospital after 18 years. First and foremost, Jo was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with family and attending sporting events and school activities of her sons and grandchildren. She was their biggest fan! Jo and her family had been members and attended the Cairo United Methodist Church, Cairo, Ohio. She is survived by three sons: John (Connie) Tabler, Greenville; Jim (Amy) Tabler, Columbus Grove and Joe (Erica) Tabler, Oregon; nine grandchildren; two brothers: Ken (Sharon) Lamb, Lima and Ron (Kay) Lamb, Convoy; two sisters: Carol (Lee) Cunningham, McDonough, GA and Pat (Marc) Belanger, Webbwood, Ontario, Canada. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, Ohio. Pastor Rich Rakay will officiate. Burial will follow in Cairo Eastside Cemetery, Cairo, Ohio. Friends may call from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice Care Center of Findlay, Blanchard Valley Hospital, 1900 South Main Street Findlay, Ohio 45840.
