Lima, Ohio Laurel Eugene Kline, Sr., 65, died at 5:20 am, October 19, 2017. He was born on October 2, 1952 in Lima, Ohio to Delno and Betty (Hill) Kline. They both preceded him in death. Laurel is survived by his sons: Travis (Andrea) Kline of Lima; a daughter: Teresa Kline of Lima; six grandchildren: Travis Kline, II, Brianna Kline, Caleb Kline, Hannah Stoneburner, Brandon Kline and Haylie Kline all of Lima; 3 brothers: Lonnie (Lynn) Kline of Romulus, MI, Richard (Kathy) Kline of Louisville, KY and John Kline of Lima; two sisters: Vicky (Ray) McCoy and Renee Riggle both of Lima and one daughter in-law: Amanda Kline of Lima. He was preceded in death by one son: Laurel E. Kline, Jr. and one brother: Karl Kline. Laurel was a graduate of Elida High School, Elida, Ohio. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during Vietnam War. Laurel was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeyes. Memorial service will begin at 10:00 a.m, Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Hartman Sons Funeral Home. Pastor Gary Hohman, will officiate with Military Rites will be conducted at the end of the service by Columbus Grove VFW and American Legion Color Guard.
