Columbus Grove, Ohio Keith R. Edwards, 81, died at 12:13 pm, Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at St Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio. He was born November 7, 1936, in Vaughnsville, Ohio to Spencer and Mary Esther (Reynolds) Edwards. They both preceded him in death. On August 31, 1958, he married Virginia "Ginger" L. Hitchcock. She preceded him in death on July 1, 2012. Keith is also survived by two daughters, Kelly (Jeffrey) Davis of Zionsville, IN and Jennifer (Ronald) Hovest of Kalida; five grandchildren, Brent & Drew Hovest and Adam, Kelsey & Ryan Davis; two brothers, Reynold (Sondra) Edwards and Dale (Jane) Edwards both of Columbus Grove; two sisters, Della Archer of Elida and Patricia Helms of Findlay. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Davis; two sisters, Mary Lou (William) Tavener and Janet Lea Edwards; and one brother, Robert Edwards. Keith was a graduate of Vaughnsville High School. He was a member of the Ohio National Guard. He started work at San-A-Pure Dairy, Findlay, after which he founded the Grove Dairy Company, and was a Distributor for the ARPS Dairy, Defiance, Ohio. After selling the Grove Dairy he invested in the B.J. Davis Co., Cleveland. He was a Columbus Grove School bus driver, and drove tour bus for Executive Coach, Ottawa. Services will begin at 2:00 pm, Friday, September 14, 2018, at St. John's United Methodist Church, Columbus Grove. Pastor Kathleen Hayes will officiate, with burial to follow in Truro Cemetery, Columbus Grove. Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, September 13, 2018, and prior to the service from 12:00 (noon) - 1:30 pm, Friday, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove.
