Lima Kaye Anne Anderson, 71, died at 2 a.m. Oct. 23, 2011, at her home. She was born March 1, 1940, in Lima to Charles and Mildred Jones Miller, who preceded her in death. On June 20, 1959, she married J. David Anderson, who survives. Mrs. Anderson was a graduate of Bath High School Class of 1958. She worked 30 years for the Allen County Treasurer's Office, during which she served as interim treasurer two different times. She was a member of the Cairo United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Women's Society and sang for many years in the church choir. She enjoyed gardening, bird-watching, attending craft shows and especially the monthly gathering of retired co-workers from the Treasurer's Office. She loved spending time with her family and her cat, "Tiggy." Survivors also include two daughters, Valerie (Brent) Kuenzli, of Rawson, and Deb (Rick) Roberts, of Lima; four "cousin-sisters," Jean Ann Douglas, Sue Hover, Beverly Begg and "sister" Shirley Johnston; four grandchildren, Brennon Hattery, Zach Roller, Caleb Hattery and Erica Roberts. She was preceded in death by an infant grandson. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home. Pastor Rich Rakay and Pastor Greg Coleman will officiate. Burial will be in Cairo Eastside Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Columbus Grove. Memorial contributions may be made to Cairo United Methodist Church.
