Ron, Jen & Aaron. I was soooo very saddened to learn about Karen's passing. Karen was a suite-mate of mine at The Ohio State University for several years & we had so much fun all together. She also was a bridesmaid in our wedding 46 years ago. We used to call her Little Karen. I am so happy that thru email we reconnected many years ago. A couple of years ago Ron, Karen & I enjoyed a wonderful lunch together & reminisced for hours. Karen will be so missed & I am just so happy that she was a very special friend & was in my life. God sure has a special angel to watch over her family & friends. Love & Hugs, Mimi & Marty Mudrak
In deepest sympathy at your loss. The world has lost a wonderful and caring person.
Sincere condolences to Karen's family, what a loss you have suffered. I was not lucky enough to ever meet Karen in person, but as a fellow Friend of Barbaro, she touched my heart with her kindness and love of horses. She will be sorely missed by those of us who looked for her posts every week. We will continue to name the horses every week, in Karen's memory.
Karen was a wonderful person. I can still remember her as Miss Ross one of my first grade teachers. Then after I had children, she will be remembered as the friendly librarian who was always helpful and truely interested in my kids. Lastly, I was the fortunate one to have her as a coworker for several years at the election polls. Karen's stories and soft spoken opinions kept us entertained and informed each election day. I am greatful to have known her in my many stages of life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.Dan & Patty Wetli
Dear Glenn and Family, I wanted to express my deepest sympathy and concern for you and also share with you the wonderful hope for our dead loved ones. As you grieve Karen’s death, please reflect on the hope in question, which comes from our Heavenly Creator, Jehovah God. By means of the Bible, He allows us to understand how He’ll eliminate death for good one day and bring our dead loved ones back to life. This is evident in (Isaiah 25: 8), (John 5: 28), (1 Corinthians 15:26), (Revelation 21:3 and 4), which can comfort you in this time of sorrow. God’s promises are guaranteed because He cannot lie (Titus 1: 2). Moreover John 11 verses 11-14, 39, 43, and 44 attests that Jesus, whom God appoints to bring the dead back to life, can do it since he demonstrated that when he resurrected Lazarus and two other individuals when he was on earth. So as you await the fulfillment of the resurrection promise, please heed Jesus’ counsel found at John 17 verse 3 by taking steps to gain accurate knowledge of Jehovah and Jesus through a FREE Bible study with the Jehovah’s Witnesses. As noted in John 17 verse 3 and Matthew 5 verse 5, Jesus explains that for most people, such study could mean “ENDLESS LIFE†one day here on earth, which will be restored into a paradise where you can be re-united with Karen again in a world free of SICKNESS, VIOLENCE, WAR, OLD AGE, DEATH etc…as confirmed in the following Scriptures (Isaiah 33:24), (Ps 37: 9-11 and 29), (Psalms 46: 8 and 9), (Job: 33:25, (Revelation 21: 3 and 4)May you be comforted by the cited Scriptures, which give us a sure hope for a wonderful future in God’s upcoming new world! (Matthew 19: 28-30)
Mr. Grabianowski, Aaron and Jen,We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear wife and mother. I know that she fought cancer for so many years, and that she kept a brave and courageous face throughout. Your family was such an important part of my high school years, and I have many fond memories of spending time at your house with all of you. Mrs. Grabianowski always made me feel welcome and part of your family, even though she was dealing with the emotion of the initial stages of her battle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God’s peace be with you.Jeff and Jen Silliman
I always enjoyed talking to Karen when I would see her on election day and previously when she worked at the library. I am so sorry to hear of her death; please know that your family is in all of our thoughts.
Ron and Family,I was saddened to hear of Karen's passing. I knew she had been ill for many years. I believe I met Karen on the first day of classes at Ohio State, Lima and we remained good friends throughout our days at OSU and for several years after graduation. From what I read in The Lima News, Karen had a very good life and a wonderful family. I was glad to know that. I will always remember her as a good friend and one of the nicest people I have ever known. Bill Garling
