I have so many fond memories of my conversations with John on Saturday mornings at the Bluffton Farmers Market. John would see me coming, get a smile on his face and say, "I saved some for you". He always saved salmon color geraniums for me in the Spring and the nicest mums in the late Summer. I will miss John, not only for his flowers, but more for our conversations. May you R.I.P. my friend. See you soon

We have so many good memories of John - our family times in Wellston, at the cabins at Lake Hope, at Holden Beach, in his and Peg's visits to Rhode Island, and some very special times in Florida in winters past. He was an important part of our family, and always there for our mom and others when needed.
He had great stories to tell about his kids and grandkids. He was so proud of all of them. Our own kids have fond memories of Uncle John and Aunt Peg's visits. They never knew if his stories were true or if Uncle John was just pulling their legs! He had a great sense of humor.
His love for Peg was evident as he would drive wherever she wanted to go to visit family! They had wonderful vacations together.
John will truly be missed.
