JoAnn George's Obituary
JoAnn (Jones) George, 83, of Pandora, went to be with her Savior and Lord on July 1, 2025. She was born on March 6, 1942, to the late N. Morris and M. Eloise (Finn) Jones. July 2, 1961, marks the day she became the cherished bride of Milo George, who survives.
JoAnn was a 1960 graduate of Columbus Grove High School. She and Milo owned and operated George's TV and Electronics for 38 years. They started the business in the backroom of their home. As the business grew and expanded, they built a store on State Route 12 in Pandora. During their time away from the business, JoAnn would be on the back of Milo's motorcycle as they traveled with their Goldwing Motorcycle club all over North America. They later transitioned to RV camping with Good Sam's Group. JoAnn was a member of the Pandora Missionary Church, loved to cook, entertaining friends and family and playing piano. She was a proud mom, grandma and great grandma. She spent countless hours attending her children's and grandchildren's activities and sporting events.
She is also survived by her children, Judith Coeling, Centerville and Michael (Julia) George, Columbus Grove; grandchildren, Jayma (Logan) Hazelbaker, Cincinnati, Aaron (Melissa) Coeling, Lincoln, Nebraska, Bryant Coeling, Centerville, Zachary (Jacie Higbie) George, Findlay, Chad (Morgan Lynnea) Coeling, Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Zebulon (Emma) George, Carey; great grandchildren, Landon and Maggie Hazelbaker, Lacey Coeling and Theo Coeling; sister, Jean Oliver, Lima; nieces, Lisa Jones, Seminole, Florida, Linda (Marvin) Figy, Celina, Deborah Bish, Perrysburg. She is also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-laws, Nolan (Nancy) Jones and Jon (Marilyn) Jones; brother-in-law, Paul Oliver; and nephews, David Jones and Robert Rode.
Visitation is 6-8 pm Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Hartman-Rousculp Community Funeral Home 10879 SR OH-12 Columbus Grove. Funeral service is at 4:30 pm Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Pandora Missionary Church, 300 Rocket Ridge, Pandora, OH with visitation one hour prior. Preferred memorials to the Church.
