Columbus Grove, Ohio Jerry J. Krontz, age 65, died at 3:45 a.m, Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at his home. He was born August 8, 1954, in Lima, Ohio to John H. and LaDean (Betts) Krontz, Jr.. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Columbus Grove. Jerry is survived by two daughters, Tina M. (Rita Bailey) Moore of Lima and Tammy (Rachelle) Miller of Lobelville, TN; three grandchildren, Elizabeth K Sayna, Alex Miller and Adrian Moore; three brothers, Gerald (Cherylanne) Krontz of Cloverdale, Franklin (Barb) Krontz of Lima and Donnie (Janelle) Krontz of Columbus Grove; and two sisters, Loretta (Oscar) Vogt and Beverly (Philip) Iiames both of Columbus Grove. He had attended Columbus Grove Schools. Jerry had worked for Buckeye Tractor of Columbus Grove. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars. Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 17, 2020, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Mark Walls will officiate. Burial will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at Truro Cemetery, Columbus Grove.
