Helen Lamb Obituary
Columbus Grove Helen M. Lamb, 88, died at 6:28 p.m. March 28, 2012, at The Meadows of Kalida in Kalida. She was born March 1, 1924, in Cairo to Charles Alfred and Leota Belle Tippie Ridenour, who preceded her in death. On June 7, 1947, she married Gilbert "Tubby" Lamb, who died May 30, 1990. Mrs. Lamb was a homemaker and had worked at Westinghouse Electric Corp., Lima, for five years during World War II. She enjoyed her family especially her grandchildren. Survivors include a son, David L. (Deb) Lamb, of Columbus Grove; a daughter, Sandy J. Snyder, of Columbus Grove; a brother, Garnet M. (Carol) Ridenour, of Cairo; a sister-in-law, Jean Ridenour, of Lusby, Md.; five grandchildren, Deanna (Mike) Ricker, of Columbus Grove, Jason Lamb, of Kalida, Jennifer (Berto) Arroyo, of Montgomery, Ill., Eric Lamb, of Bluffton, and Adam Lamb, of Columbus Grove; and six great-grandchildren, Andrea Ricker, Amanda Ricker, Taylor Lamb, Caleb Arroyo, Sofia Arroyo and Isabela Arroyo. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jackie, Richard and Charles "Bill" Ridenour. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Gary Ginter will officiate. Burial will be in Cairo East Cemetery, Cairo. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Home Health Agency, The Meadows of Kalida or the charity of the donor's choice.
