COLUMBUS GROVE — Gregory G. Wyant, 52, died at 11:15 a.m. March 8, 2013, at his residence. He was born July 7, 1960, in Lima to George and Evelyn Romes Wyant, who both survive in Columbus Grove. Mr. Wyant was a graduate of St. Anthony and Columbus Grove schools, and a graduate of the University of Northwest Ohio Auto and Diesel Mechanics school. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and had formerly been a member of its co-ed softball team. He was a farmer and had also worked in Findlay for Miami Industrial Truck. He was an avid dart player, often hosting games and tournaments at his home. He also loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, playing euchre and anything John Deere. Survivors also include two brothers, Mike (Carla) Wyant and Jeff Wyant, of Columbus Grove; a sister, Susan Utrup, of Lima; seven nieces and nephews, Tiffany (Brandon) Clem, Jeremy Wyant, Jessica Utrup, Jim Utrup, Jennifer Utrup, Julie Utrup, Joshua (Kara) Wyant; and great-nephew Ryker Wyant. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Church, Columbus Grove. The Rev. Tom Extejt will officiate. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Columbus Grove. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. A special Scripture Service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony School Endowment Found or the American Heart Association.
